จากกระแสในโลกออนไลน์ที่พากันแชร์รูปภาพของเซเลบริตี้จีนที่ศัลยกรรมจนเหมือนใช้แอพแต่รูปตลอดเวลา หน้าเรียวแหลม ทำให้หลายคนอยากจะเห็นหน้าจริงของเธอ
โดยหนุ่มจีนหน้าประหลาดคนนี้ มีชื่อเสียงเรียงนามว่า “วินเซนต์ เลา” นักศึกษาวัย 20 ปี ที่โด่งดังจากการโพสต์ภาพเซลฟี่โฉมหน้ารูปทรงประหลาด เหมือนแต่งหน้าด้วยแอพตลอดเวลา คางเรียวแหลม ตาโตมากจนผิดปกติ
ทำให้เขาได้ฉายาจากประชาชนชาวเน็ตจีนว่า Snake Boy ยังไม่พอแค่นั้น เมื่อเขายังชอบโพสต์ภาพโป๊เปลือยเห็นสะโพกกับเอวที่คอดเล็กจนผิดส่วน อวดรวยสารพัดแบรนด์เนม
วินเซนต์ยอมรับว่าผ่านมีดหมอมาแต่ก็แค่ทำศัลยกรรมจมูกมาเพียงเล็กน้อยและเมื่อมีคนนำรูปสมัยก่อนออกมาแฉ ซึ่งจะเห็นได้ว่าดูแตกต่างและมาไกลมาก จนดูกลายเป็นคนละคนกัน
เขาก็แก้ต่างว่า “ภาพนั้นมันถ่ายเมื่อกว่า 5 ปีมาแล้ว และถ่ายด้วยฝีมือช่างภาพที่ไม่หวังดี ทำให้ภาพออกมาดูไม่ค่อยเหมือนตัวจริงสักเท่าไร”
แถมเขายังบอกอีกว่ารูปคางที่เห็นเป็นของแท้ร้อยเปอร์เซ็นต์ แต่ที่ดูเรียวขึ้นเพราะใช้มาสก์หน้าสูตรพิเศษ บวกกับมุมกล้องจึงทำให้ดูเป็นวีเชฟมากขึ้นเท่านั้น
ไม่ได้ผ่านการทำศัลยกรรมแต่อย่างใด แต่ถึงแม้จะประกาศออกมาอย่างนั้น ก็มีคนเอาอีกภาพมาแฉ โดยว่ากันว่าเป็นภาพหลังการทำศัลยกรรมที่จะเห็นได้ชัดว่ามีทั้งการทำตา จมูก หางคิ้ว และคาง
