สาวสวยจากตัวแทนประเทศไทยอย่าง “มารีญา พูลเลิศลาภ” ร้องไห้ขอโทษชาวไทย ที่ไม่สามารถนำมงกุฏกลับบ้านมาได้ ถึงจะเข้ารอบ 5 คนสุดท้าย และลึกที่สุดในรอบ 29 ปี แล้วก็ตาม

ทาง facebook fanpage ชื่อ Thailand-beauty pageant ได้โพสต์ถึงรูปภาพของสาวมารีญา ซึ่งประกอบด้วยข้อความว่า “ถึงมงจะไม่ลง แต่ก็ยังรักเหมือนเดิม เมื่อมารีญาได้โพสต์บอกขอโทษเรื่องการตอบคำถามในลักษณะแบบนั้น”
